Poker and maturity

Now who says you have to be mature to play poker? No one! And that is evident by some of the people that I've played against online. I've not run into any extremely immature people in live games ...yet! But, just last night I was in an online tourney and there sits one woman (said she was a woman) that, in all CAPS, is getting upset with people for "taking too long to play their hand". Please - online, you have what? 30 seconds to decide your actions on any given hand? Maybe a minute longer? I hope she never plays in a live tourney where someone might take a staggering 3 whole minutes to decide their next move! Patience is a virtue my friends. Then this chic kept on doing the CAPS thing and talking smack to me! I'm a very even tempered player. I don't get mad and hit or throw things after a bad beat or even a suckout! Good thing was - I was the one who knocked her out of the tourney!

Well there is one pro player that comes to mind when I think of maturity in live tournaments - or in this case, a lack thereof! I'll call him "Brat" and guess that y'all know which dude I'm referring to. Granted, he is a very good poker player and has proven that by winning WSOP bracelets and multiple other wins and money finishes. But his maturity at the table leaves a lot to be desired. So Mr. "I can act like this because I'm a pro and made more money than you playing poker" just sit down, keep your lips closed and wait until you are sitting across from me! It will happen, oh yes it will. And when the day comes that I knock you out of a WSOP game, I will revel in that moment, turn to you and STICK OUT MY TONGUE! How's that for maturity?!
