Mainly because I entered a $20 buy-in tourney on Absolute Poker and came in 5th place. It paid $160. I lost to a chaser! Was a little ticked off but oh well - made some money.
So I've figured that Omaha is much more of a statistical game than Hold'em is. There are so many more outs in Omaha than Hold'em. I've seen many people say that Omaha is a "no-brainer" game but my guess is that those are the people that didn't pass 8th grade Algebra! Since I'm a math geek at heart I just love the statistical aspect of the game - Stud, I like also, but I'm not too confident in that game.
Well - a little off this topic but -
BIG CONGRATS to the Texas Longhorns for winning the Rose Bowl and the NCAA Title. Vince Young is a phenomenal player who deserves many kudos for his outstanding perfomance in the last 5 minutes of that game. For those of you who didn't get to see the game, you missed out. My hubby even said he may start watching college football instead of NFL if all the games are that good. I say - fat chance he'll ever give up on the 49ers even when they are having a "rebuilding year" which is a euphemism for "they suck this year and coming in last place will at least give them a decent position in the draft picks for next year"
