Nothing to do with poker

Sorry - this has nothing to do with poker - just a general common sense rule. On Halloween I made some cutout cookies (oh how sweet i know). Well, I had some dough left over after the 6 dozen pumpkins were finished so I just put it in the fridge. Well, tonight I thought I would finish off the dough. Bad idea, I realize now it was a really bad idea. Not only did I eat some of the raw dough (it did have egg in it) but I went ahead and cut out a bunch more (2 doz) cookies and threw them in the oven. Well I also threw them in the trash when they were finished because they smelled so bad. And of course now my house smells like apple cinnamon (my candle) scented funk. And I also feel like any second I'm going to have to go worship the almighty thorn. Normally I am a very good cook, but this time it just didn't occur to me that raw cookie dough wouldn't taste very good after being in the fridge for 3 weeks. So hopefully my kitchen smell will disperse as quickly as my nausea.

Day 2 of my new job

Well, this is officially my 2nd day on the job as VP of Marketing for Drawdead.com (yes I decided that was an appropriate title for myself). I thought that I would be way ahead on my task list today but with sick kids and dentist appointments I'm not quite getting in the 6 hours of work a day I would like to. I guess it's too early in my new job to take a vacation day though.

I must admit that online bingo is much funner than I thought it would be. And since I've been doing some writing on bingo strategy, yes there is a strategy to bingo, I think my game is improving. - Go ahead and laugh at that if you'd like but I'm gonna be a billionaire off my bingo winnings. HA! well I won $18 so far, only $999,999,972 to go. Well back to the bingo cards for me.

Sooner than I thought!

Well - it's official ! Friday was my last day at my old job. Due to some circumstances at work and Home I thought it was best if I started my new job (here) a bit sooner than expected.

So anyway, tonight is the 2nd week of the league I'm playing to get a seat to the WSOP next year. I think it might be in my best interest to use one of my tricks! Which one, you ask, well the Erin B of course! At last weeks game there was a woman there who, unbeknownst, to her was using that exact trick. She was a first time player and had an outfit on that you would expect to see a "Scores" girl in. Everytime she dealt the cards she would get up basically on the table and lay her cans on the felt. Well, I guess I could attribute her behavior to the 3 margueritas she'd had early in the game!
